I have been painting for 38 years. I use acrylics, pastels and oils. I love depicting nature in an impressionistic way. I am more concerned with colour and movement than copying an actual photograph which after all can be caught on camera.

I prefer to paint larger paintings but occasionally use smaller canvases.

I was self-taught at first, then went  to college to do a foundation course in art and design. I went on from there to take a HND in ceramics and design.

I have exhibited in the Mall Gallery in London where I got a "highly commended" award.

I have sold paintings in Swansea, Reading, Hastings and also Eastbourne, UK.
